Voted by golfers; Classic Course ranks 36th in Golf Travel's Asia Top 100, the highest in Malaysia
Forest City Golf Resort has been named "Most Outstanding Asia-Pacific Golf Course" at the Golfers' Choice Awards, its fifth appearance on the awards list. Organised by GOLF VACATIONS and now in their 20th year, the awards were recently announced at Shenzhou Peninsula Golf Resort in Hainan, China.
The awards are decided by golfers' votes, with courses chosen by golfers and travellers based on the rounds they have played. Forest City Golf Resort was first named "Choice Overseas Golf Course" in 2020, and golfers voted for it again in 2023, 2024 and 2025. In 2026, the resort moved up to "Most Outstanding Asia-Pacific Golf Course". Five appearances in seven years reflect sustained support from golfers, and the resort's ongoing investment in course conditioning, facilities and service.
Both courses also perform well in regional rankings. This year, the Classic Course ranks 36th in Golf Travel's Top 100 Golf Courses in Asia, the highest among Malaysian courses, and has made the list for seven consecutive years. The Legacy Course ranks 49th in the Top 100 Golf Courses in Asia-Pacific.
"Recognition from golfers is one of the strongest endorsements of our quality," said Anson Li Junwei, General Manager of Resort and Tourism, Forest City. "We remain committed to elevating course standards, enhancing our hospitality services and welcoming golfers from around the world to Forest City."
