Forest City Handing Over 1st IBS Residential Project
GELANG PATAH, 23rd April 2019: Having celebrated its 3rd year anniversary, Forest City will hand over 2 serviced apartments， namely Starview Bay and Regalia Park， starting from April 23.
For the Regalia Park, a total of 3,304 units will be handed over while a total of 7,186 units will be handed over under the Starview Bay.
As the pilot project using IBS technology, a total of 5 blocks of apartment has been built using the IBS components supplied by the in-house IBS plant located just 10 minutes away.
Similar to the 1st phase of residential units handed over to the buyers last year, the new units will also feature the smart home system such as face recognition to access the building, intelligence mailbox that sends notification to house owners when letters arrived and a centralized security control system to ensure the safety of the community.
Johor Housing， Communications and Multimedia committee chairman YB Dzulkefly Ahmad was invited to inspect the project quality as well as to witness the presentation of the Certificates of Completion and Compliance (CCC) from the Iskandar Puteri Municipal Council (MBIP) to Country Garden Pacificview (CGPV), the master developer of Forest City.
MBIP head of engineering Yahya Hassan presented the CCC to CGPV executive director Dato Daing A Malek Daing A Rahaman.
In his speech, Dzulkefly said he hoped the IBS technology coupled with Forest City’s expertise in construction would be fully utilised for the building of affordable houses in the public-private sector collaboration between the state government and CGPV.
“As for the Regalia Park and Starview Bay, CGPV has not only provided housing facilities for the housebuyers, I believe the project has also created a positive impact on the state’s economy, promoted technology and knowledge transfer through education and social development.

Having garnered a robust demand for its residential units, CGPV will now shift its focus to industrial and commercial development over the next three years specifically tourism component.
Tourism is one of the core pillars for CGPV and the current aim is to promote Forest City as a one of the top tourist destinations in Malaysia. CGPV will constantly upgrade the facilities and expand other attraction spots to complement with the existing hotels and golf course so that tourists will have more options when they come to Forest City.
